As a Forklift Operator within Visy Board, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, paper products, and finished goods across our site located in Carole Park.

A key component of the role is the safe loading and unloading of trailers to support production and distribution requirements. You will play a vital role in maintaining warehouse efficiency while upholding Visy's commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Position will start as an ongoing casual Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm, successful candidate will need to be flexible with start & finish times depending on business requirements. This position will lead into a fulltime permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload trailers using forklifts.
• Load and unload palletised freight & paper reels.
• Transport raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products throughout the site.
• Complete quality inspections and inventory-related tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with production and logistics teams to achieve daily operational targets.
• Comply with all site safety procedures, policies, and operational requirements.

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Current LF Forklift License
• Demonstrated experience loading and unloading trailers in a manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, or industrial environment.
• Preferred experience with using forklift grab attachments.
• Experience operating forklifts within a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively within a team.
• Flexibility to work across multiple Visy sites as required.
• Reliable transport and the ability to travel between sites.
