About the opportunity:
Kick-start your career as a Maintenance Fitter, where your primary focus will be operating production machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll also gain hands-on experience supporting maintenance, repairs, and improvements to equipment, building your trade skills while working alongside experienced professionals.
This is an ideal opportunity for recent graduates looking to develop their skills in a supportive, high-tech environment.
- Rotating 12 hour half time roster - working only Monday to Friday, earning ~$120k + Overtime
- Full training provided
What you’ll do:
- Learn to safely operate production machinery to keep manufacturing running efficiently
- Assist with preventative maintenance and basic repairs on plant equipment
- Support troubleshooting and fault-finding activities with guidance from experienced fitters
- Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong safety-first culture
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve performance
- Continuously build your technical skills through on-the-job training and mentorship
What You Will Bring:
- Completed a Mechanical Fitter apprenticeship (Certificate III or equivalent)
- Interest in manufacturing, machinery, and hands-on work
- Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn and develop
- Forklift license (desirable)
