Reporting to the Distribution Manager, this role supports the Logistics function within our Crestmead team to ensure large volume customised orders are despatched in a safe and timely manner across the shift.

What You Will Do:

• Day-to-day operational despatch readiness of customer orders.
• Operation of counterbalance, grab and twin tyne forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as required to prepare loads and ensure timely distribution.
• Ensuring that all delivery loads are ready for dispatch, with correct packaging, labelling and completed paperwork.
• Ensure a high level of safety; overseeing the cleanliness of equipment and bays, codes of practice, and follow relevant procedures.
• Find opportunities for continuous improvement by regularly reviewing procedures to assist in initiating new procedures.
• Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.

What You Will Bring to the Team: 

• Experience in a similar role, within Consumer Goods or Manufacturing.
• Current Forklift Ticket with experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Have a strong attention to detail.
• Sound understanding of transport logistics, freight, and delivery services.
• Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously or part of a team.
• Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
