Role details:
We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our West Wodonga Board Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating day and afternoon shift - 6am – 2pm & 2pm – 10pm, with overtime available. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

What you’ll do:

• Install, repair, and service machines, including glue lines, roll-overs, conveyors, cylinders, belts, and automated systems.
• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Work with our skilled production team to resolve issues with minimal downtime.
• Manage inventory and stock control of spare parts.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to production machinery.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.

What you’ll bring:

• Mechanical Fitter or similar trade qualification.
• Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to fault-find and resolve issues with a sense of urgency.
• Passion for your trade and commitment to continual growth.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
