The Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be part of a high performing team responsible for the maintenance and repair of plant and equipment such as Corrugators, Automated Feeders, Rotary Die cutters, Flex Fold machine at our Board Facility in Yatala.

• Full-time Day shift: 6:00am to 4.00pm (10hr shift with 2 hours being at OT rate)
• Rate:  $50p/hr + shift loading + overtime
• From January 2027 a 4week roster will begin (Days x3 weeks then Afternoons x1)
• Location: Visy Yatala Board

What you will do:

• Conduct preventative maintenance of all plant and equipment.
• Provide service to maintain production and resolution of operational or technical problems.
• Ensure you work as a member of a cohesive team while maintaining individual responsibility.
• Contribute to a safe and compliant working environment.

What you will bring to the team:

• Trade qualifications in Mechanical Fitting or a related field.
• Fitter experience in a packaging or FMCG environment.
• Highly focused troubleshoot skills and 'follow up' approach to maintenance tasks.
• Good communication and collaborative approach with all trades within the Maintenance team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and “get the best job done” approach every day.
