Visy Logistics is entering a major growth phase following the launch of a new national transport partnership with a leading steel manufacturer. This expansion strengthens our national footprint and builds new capability across construction and steel logistics.

Location: Mayfield, NSW
Routes: Point to Point Site shuttles, Newcastle based
Shifts: AM, Afternoon & PM Shifts Available

What you’ll do:

  • Operate A or B-Double combinations to support point to point shuttle movements
  • Transport steel products safely with strong awareness of load restraint
  • Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.  
  • Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.  
  • Comply with all company/site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws. 
  • Adhere to all site load restraint guidelines & policies to ensure freight is securely transported.  

What you’ll bring:

  • Current MC license with minimum 2 years’ Australian driving experience
  • Proven experience operating A & B-Double combinations  
  • Strong understanding of load restraint guidelines (steel experience preferred but not essential)
  • Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.  
  • Complete Visy Practical Driver Assessment.  
  • Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork. 
  • A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.  
  • Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.   
  • Ability to meet customer compliance KPI standards with accuracy and consistency
