About the Opportunity

The Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day coordination, supervision and support of the mechanical maintenance team. You’ll lead planned and reactive maintenance activities, drive safety and compliance, and ensure plant equipment delivers maximum performance and uptime.

This is a hands‑on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and enjoys coaching tradespeople, improving processes, and working closely with operations.

This is an exciting opportunity to help develop and shape maintenance practices to support long-term operations on site.

• Shift Details: Day Shift, Monday to Friday (6:15am to 3pm) additional hours may be required to support maintenance functions
• Pay Details: $60.00 per hour + OT

 What you’ll do:

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of mechanical trades and contractors
• Oversee mechanical maintenance activities across the plant, including planned preventative work and breakdown response
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Visy policies, standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting
• Collaborate with operations to minimise downtime and improve asset performance

What you will bring to the team:

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Fitter (Certificate III or equivalent)
• Experience in FMCG manufacturing environment
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
