The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Manager, this role leads the end-to-end operations of our Specialties manufacturing site.

You’ll take full accountability for site performance across safety, people, production, service, quality and cost. Working closely with internal teams and customers, you will ensure the site delivers consistent operational outcomes while driving continuous improvement.

This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can balance people leadership with strong commercial and operational discipline in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead site safety, compliance and HSE performance on the floor
  • Manage end-to-end manufacturing operations and output
  • Manage cost of convert, labour and productivity performance
  • Drive quality performance and reduce non-conformance
  • Ensure service delivery, turnaround times and customer outcomes
  • Lead and develop site teams across production, maintenance and planning
  • Manage industrial relations and HR matters across the site
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and performance

What You Bring

  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong background in production, distribution and site operations
  • Experience managing site performance, cost control and P&L outcomes
  • Capability in continuous improvement, problem solving and project delivery
  • Strong understanding of safety, quality and compliance frameworks
  • Experience leading teams, developing capability and managing performance
  • Exposure to IR/ER environments within manufacturing settings
  • Tertiary qualification in a related field (desirable)
  • 5S or CI-related training (advantageous)
