Role Details:
You will report to the Financial Controller in this strategic finance leadership role with broad oversight across all aspects of the Adelaide plant’s operations—including revenue management, cost control, and capital expenditure. You will place strong emphasis on achieving plant financial objectives through accurate forecasting, robust budget development, and disciplined policy adherence. You will also encompass additional responsibilities as required by the Financial Controller to ensure strong financial stewardship and operational excellence across the site.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead as a senior member of the Adelaide Plant Leadership Team, providing expert insight on financial performance and profitability drivers.
- Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long‑term financial planning, ensuring accuracy, insight and alignment to operational objectives.
- Drive disciplined cost management and identify strategic opportunities to improve plant profitability and efficiency.
- Deliver clear, timely financial reporting, KPI analysis and commercial insights to support operational decision‑making.
- Manage plant controlling activities including standard costing, performance reporting, and commercial business partnering.
- Oversee capital expenditure planning, budgeting, project tracking and fixed asset governance.
- Ensure accurate month‑end processes, balance sheet integrity and adherence to corporate financial policies and controls.
- Lead, develop and mentor direct reports while fostering continuous improvement, strong governance and positive audit outcomes.
What You Will Bring:
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- CA or CPA qualified with strong technical accounting capability.
- 10+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within complex, high‑volume operations.
- Demonstrated business partnering expertise, influencing operational leaders and driving performance outcomes.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with strong capability in Excel and Power BI.
- Confident communicator with the ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders across the plant and broader business.
- Experience using Oracle Hyperion for reporting, planning or consolidation.
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP platforms.
