Opportunities

Reporting to the Operations Manager, this hands on role supports the running of the day to day operations and manage material flow of our busy recycling plant whilst driving safe work practices. This is a full time permanent position working day shift hours.

What You Will Do:

• Manage workflow of the intake bays with incoming vehicles
• Loading trucks with commingle waste
• Operation of Counterbalance, grab forklifts and front end loaders
• Complete mandatory dockets and paperwork for load requirements
• Maintain general housekeeping of work area.
• Ensure a high level of safety; overseeing the cleanliness of equipment and areas, codes of practice, and follow relevant procedures.
• Uphold and adhere to company policies and procedures in Environmental, Health and Safety and HACCP.

What You Will Bring to the Team: 

• Hold current LF forklift and Driver’s licence.
• Be a competent front end loader operator in an industrial environment.
• EWP Yellow Card is advantageous
• Able to carry out manual handling tasks when required.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great work ethic with the ability to work autonomously and part of a team.
• Adhere, uphold, and maintain OHS policies and procedures.
