Role Details

Visy Logistics is seeking an exceptional Vice President – Intermodal to lead, transform and grow our national Intermodal business.

Reporting to the President, Visy Logistics Australia, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility for our Intermodal Division which incorporates operations spanning road, rail and warehousing across multiple locations nationally.

We are looking for a seasoned logistics and intermodal leader who combines strategic capability with hands-on operational leadership. You will be comfortable getting into the detail, challenging the status quo and building high-performing operations, while positioning the business for significant future growth.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the performance and strategic direction of the national Intermodal business across road, rail and warehousing.
• Drive operational performance across service, productivity, cost, safety, compliance and EBIT.
• Own financial performance, including budgeting, operational efficiency, margin improvement and capital planning.
• Lead transformation and standardisation, creating consistent, high-performing operations across the division.
• Build strong leadership capability and a performance-driven, accountable culture
• Strengthen key customer and stakeholder relationships while supporting business development and new growth opportunities.
• Play a pivotal leadership role in delivering the division's ambitious growth strategy.

What You'll Bring:

This role calls for a high-calibre logistics executive with genuine operational depth.

You will bring:

• A proven senior leadership track record within a large-scale 3PL, transport or logistics environment, operating at national scale.
• Demonstrated ownership and improvement of a significant P&L, ideally within a business of comparable scale and complexity.
• Strong operational leadership with experience driving service, productivity, cost, safety and compliance performance.
• Proven success building, transforming and improving businesses and operations.
• Strong commercial capability and experience developing key customer and stakeholder relationships.
• A hands-on leadership style with the ability and willingness to immerse yourself in operational detail.
• The tenacity, resilience and confidence to lead through change, set clear expectations and deliver results.
• A structured, analytical and data-driven approach with strong accountability and ownership.
