Reporting to the Pack Centre Manager, we currently have a vacancy for an experienced day shift Forklift Operator located at our continuous manufacturing facility based at Penrith.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Movement of palletised finished products with forklift
- Loading and unloading trucks with finished products or materials
- Transferring finished goods from palletiser to on-site storage areas
- Shifting complete pallets for resorting
- Quality checks
- Ordering of packaging materials
- Managing inventory
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping and yard duties
- Adhere to all Work, Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Willing to step up and perform supervisor coverage where required
What you will bring to the team:
- LF forklift licence
- Confidence in operating a twin tyne forklift in a fast paced manufacturing/warehousing environment
- Attention to detail, strong work ethic and good communication skills
- Basic computer literacy, SAP knowledge an advantage
