The Opportunity
Reporting to the GM Visy Automation, this role sits at the centre of our national service offering - leading technical delivery, service capability and spare parts growth across Australia and New Zealand.

You’ll take full ownership of our Service function, leading a geographically dispersed team while driving safety, operational performance and strong commercial outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership role, with a strong focus on customer engagement, technical excellence and building a high-performing service culture.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop a national team of service technicians across multiple locations
• Drive a strong safety-first culture and ensure full HSE compliance
• Own service P&L including revenue growth, cost control and profitability
• Grow technical service revenue and expand the customer base
• Drive spare parts sales and strengthen overall service capability
• Standardise service delivery, training and technical capability across the business
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues
• Partner with Sales, Projects and Engineering to deliver strong customer outcomes
• Lead customer engagement, reviews and performance reporting against SLAs
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and streamlined work practices

What You’ll Bring
• Proven experience in a senior service, operations or technical leadership role
• Strong background in automation, materials handling or industrial equipment
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing remote, multi-site teams
• Strong commercial acumen with ownership of revenue and performance outcomes
• Hands-on technical capability and customer-facing service experience
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day operational delivery
