The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Operations ANZ, this role leads Visy Plastics’ Victorian manufacturing operations across Moorabbin, Clayton and Springvale.

You’ll be responsible for delivering operational performance across safety, quality, productivity, cost and people, while leading a team of experienced managers. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on driving continuous improvement, optimising manufacturing performance and aligning operations with broader business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead HSE performance across all sites, ensuring compliance and delivery of safety targets
• Drive manufacturing performance across safety, quality, efficiency, reliability and cost KPIs
• Oversee maintenance, reliability and asset performance to maximise uptime and output
• Lead S&OP and operational planning to meet demand and optimise end-to-end supply
• Deliver PIPs and cost reduction initiatives to improve site and business performance
• Ensure product quality standards are met, leading root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Build strong customer, supplier and stakeholder relationships, supporting NPD delivery
• Lead and develop a multi-site leadership team to drive accountability and performance
• Embed Lean and continuous improvement across all operations

What You Will Bring
• Proven experience leading multi-site manufacturing operations within a high-speed industrial environment
• Strong background in safety leadership, KPI delivery and operational performance improvement
• Experience working in unionised environments and managing EBA frameworks
• Demonstrated success in Lean, continuous improvement and cost optimisation initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capability across diverse teams
• Commercial acumen with the ability to influence business performance outcomes
• Experience within plastics, packaging or recycled manufacturing environments, with exposure to SAP and modern reporting systems
• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Manufacturing or Business (preferred)
