The Opportunity

Reporting to the State Product Manager and based across our Dandenong and Coolaroo locations (typically 3 days in Dandenong and 2 days in Coolaroo), you will play a key role in the CAD drafting and development of corrugated packaging solutions for customers across Victoria. Collaborating with Sales, Production and Customer Service teams, you will transform customer requirements into detailed, production-ready designs that optimise manufacturing efficiency, minimise waste and deliver high-quality outcomes. Full training and development will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to advance your technical design career with an industry-leading organisation.

What You'll Do

• Design innovative corrugated packaging from customer briefs.
• Create solutions that improve manufacturing efficiency, productivity and material utilisation.
• Prepare quotations, samples and design documentation within agreed timeframes.
• Provide technical design support to Sales, Production and Customer Service teams.
• Process design amendments, NCRs and credits as required.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver practical packaging solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across design and manufacturing processes.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

What You'll Bring

• Experience using CAD software (Artios CAD or similar preferred).
• Engineering, Industrial Design or related qualification is advantageous.
• Packaging, manufacturing or flexographic printing experience is highly regarded.
• Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and computer skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
