About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Line Maintainer to join our Coburg Beverage Cans Plant. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating shift roster.

• 12-hour shifts, Day - 7am – 7pm and Night - 7pm – 7am.
• 2 On, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off – swapping between Day and Night every 2 week cycle
• Weekends and Public Holidays as part of roster paid at penalty rates.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
• Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime and high quality.
• Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
• Work with high-speed manufacturing equipment, understanding production demands.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
• Become involved in continuous improvement initiatives and project work.

What You’ll Bring

• Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or similar trade with maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in manufacturing environments ideal.
• Willingness to primarily operate a production line.
• Passion for your trade and commitment to improvements.
• Strong communication skills and appetite for learning.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
• Willingness to assist with shift coverage where required.
