The opportunity:
We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to join our Visy Logistics team based in Onehunga, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position working Monday to Friday, 2pm to 11.00pm, with opportunities for overtime. Reporting to the Warehousing Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and compliant supervision of all warehousing activities. Further to this your duties will include;
- Daily hands-on supervision and management of Forklift Operators and Stores people.
- Responsible for the fleet allocation and execution of customer deliveries, production transfers, packaging shuttles.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures and promote a safe and positive work environment.
- Operating double fork forklifts, counterbalance and high reach machinery.
What you’ll bring to the team:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in local transport and warehouse operations.
- Experience in people management and supervision.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience with SAP and warehousing management systems as desirable.
- Valid Forklift Counterbalance and High Reach License.
